Western Kentucky University Description:

Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Western Kentucky University has been undergoing extensive renovations and expansions in recent years. The university's capital projects are possible because of the generosity of WKU alumni. In fact, for a public university, Western Kentucky has a remarkably high rate of alumni giving. On the academic front, Elementary Education, Nursing and Business are the most popular fields of study at WKU. The university offers 90 majors and 60 minors, and the school has a 19 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students can join a range of student-run clubs and activities.
